HOW A READING WORKS
One reading, from the vehicle page to the VIN’s history.
Sonar repeats the same four steps for every vehicle it finds, so each price it reads can be traced back to where and when it was advertised.
STEP 01
Find the vehicle
Sonar reads the dealer’s vehicle detail pages and the ads that name a specific vehicle, and matches each one to its VIN.
VDP · META · GOOGLE
STEP 02
Read the price
Each reading records the advertised price, the MSRP shown, the source and the date it was read.
PRICE · MSRP · SOURCE · DATE
STEP 03
Compare it
The price is checked against the program’s MAAP floor and against the other places the same VIN is advertised.
MAAP · CROSS-SOURCE
STEP 04
Log it to the VIN
The reading joins the VIN’s price history. Anything that fails a check shows up in Clarity Co-Op next to the dealer’s other findings.

WHAT SONAR FLAGS
Three price problems Sonar catches.
Each finding names the VIN, the source and the date of the reading, so the dealer can see exactly which listing or ad to correct.
BELOW MAAP
Price below the MAAP floor
